There’s a good chance you’ve seen or played The 4th Survivor, a tough-as-nails additional mode that follows Umbrella Security Services (U.S.S.) agent Hunk as he escapes from the depths of the city in order to complete his mission, or The Tofu Survivor, a non-canon gameplay mode which follows a particularly determined block of bean curd doing its best to avoid certain death (and maybe being sautéed with some vegetables and spices).
From the desolate streets of Raccoon City to the iconic R.P.D. station, heroes Claire and Leon will have their work cut out for them if they want to survive the city of the dead. Joining them are fan-favorite characters who were introduced in the original Resident Evil 2, including the mysterious Ada Wong, a woman shrouded in mystery looking for the truth behind the outbreak, and Sherry Birkin, a young girl separated from her parents and being chased by a mutated monster.
Happylaunch day everyone. Whether it’s your first time in Raccoon City or a return visit to Arklay County, there are plenty of surprises in store in Capcom’s superlative PS4 remake of its 1998 classic.
Death isn’t the end in the demo, as you can continue as many times as you like. You can’t turn back the clock, though, so be sure to keep Leon in top shape! The iconic Green Herb from the Arklay Mountains allows you to recover some health, but it really shines when mixed with a Red Herb to boost its restorative properties. A single Green Herb will still do in a pinch if you’re barely clinging to life. If you happen to come across a First Aid Spray, be sure to keep one on you just in case — it’ll bring you to full health, no mixing required.
Monster Hunter: World stripped away just enough of the Byzantine quirks accumulated by the series over its 14-year history to seduce me into giving the storied series one more shot. And wow — am I ever glad I did.
Kage, meaning “shadow” in Japanese, is the physical embodiment of the Satsui no Hado, an evil force rooted in humanity’s obsession with power. Those who have control over this force, like Akuma, carry immense strength, but at the cost of their humanity. Ryu is one such being who knows the Satsui no Hado exists within him and has been struggling to keep it at bay. Hypothetically, if Ryu let the Satsui no Hado consume him, the being known as Evil Ryu takes over and begins a path of destruction. However, after the events of Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition, Ryu has been able to overcome the Satsui no Hado’s influence and be at peace…until the force decides to have a mind of its own.
