In a highly competitive month, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 managed to secure the #1 spot on the PS4 chart. Japan Studio’s fantastic Astro Bot: Rescue Mission sits atop the PlayStation VR list (well-deserved, I’d say), and we event got some slick new PS4 Themes from the likes of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and The Last of Us: Part II.
Welcome back! First Contact Entertainment’s tactical PS VR team shooter Firewall Zero Hour debuted at the top of the PlayStation VR downloads chart for August 2018. On the PS4 side, Madden NFL 19 took the top spot, followed by Guerrilla’s open-world masterpiece Horizon Zero Dawn and our old pal Grand Theft Auto V. The prophecy foretells that GTA V will continue to sell decades from now, long after the sun has imploded and left our galaxy a cold, lifeless void.
Grand Theft Auto V tops the chart for the second month straight! Is this reignited interest thanks to the Red Dead hype train kicking into gear? Or perhaps it’s the impressive new “After Hours” DLC just added to GTA Online. Maybe it’s that Stone Hatchet you can unlock in GTA and RDR2. Either way, congrats Rockstar!
Grand Theft Auto rocketed back to the top of the PlayStation 4 charts, with FIFA 18 hot on its heels and God of War rounding out the top three. Job Simulator reclaims its throne atop the PS VR list, and PS Vita players are enjoying the simpler things in Stardew Valley.
Kratos is back and better than ever! It doesn’t come as a huge surprise that God of War topped the PS4 downloads list for April, but we’re humbled nonetheless by the incredible response the game has gotten.
Far Cry 5 and MLB The Show 18 continue to move, rounding out the top 3 for PS4, while Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality debuted at #1 for PS VR.
Three huge new releases, three top spots on the PS4 chart. Ubisoft’s latest open-world chaos simulator Far Cry 5 reigned supreme in PS4 download numbers last month, followed by San Diego Studio’s newest entry in the fabled MLB The Show series. Finally, Hazelight’s bold new co-op prison break adventure A Way Out rounded out the top three.
Shout out to my new best friend Quill, whose itty-bitty adventure Moss sits atop the PlayStation VR chart for March. Persona 4 Golden is numero uno for PS Vita, and — surprise! — Fortnite Battle Royale was the most popular free-to-play title for the month.
